Our Mission
Abundant Rivers, Inc serves as a relocation assistance program for victims of domestic violence and their families. We cater directly to Persons of Color/ Indigenous women and women veterans.
We provide emergency relocation, sheltering and stability resources for those who have survived abuse. We provide resources for education, trauma therapy and recovery, community services, transportation stability and housing assistance.
We are dedicated to providing safety, healing and recovery for those who have experienced gender based violence
Our Beginning
Many of the people, including our founder, who volunteer have been survivors of abuse.
Our founder has been a direct survivor and has had personal experience of navigating a new life after abuse.
Our mission is to assist survivors with a new start because no one should ever have to navigate life alone.
We assist clients with free resources within the community including Therapy, Mental Health Resources, Food Pantry, Transportation, Clothing, Emergency Shelters and Housing Assistance
We aim to end abuse through education, awareness and prevention.
We believe that a persons experiences do not define who they are.
Everyone is entitled to a new beginning and even a second chance.
Everyone deserves to live a life of safety, support and security.

We do not accept any monetary donations, however we do accept food, clothing, furniture and other resources as donations. We are a 501C3 registered Tax deductible charitable organization. All donations are eligible for tax deductions.

Clothing Donations
We accept both new and gently used clothes of all sizes. Please contact above to schedule pickup.
Food Donations
We accept only unopened unused nonperishable items such as can goods and sealed items
Furniture Donations
We accept all forms of furniture that is gently used. Donation Receipts are always given.

Since 2019, we have helped relocate 38 families from 9 different states across America. Our services help to relocate women and their families to the Houston Metropolitan area.
We have helped assist 18 women achieve High School diplomas, 1 associate degree and 3 CNA licenses.
We have helped all 38 families find stable housing.
We have helped 2 families purchase their own homes!
We have helped 26 families obtain housing vouchers.
We have helped 12 families obtain permanent transportation.
Our referrals are directly from National Domestic Violence Hotline and from past survivors.
We do not accept any monetary donations.
